Juneau is one of the best places in Alaska for whale watching. Book a tour and head out into the waters of the Inside Passage, where you can spot humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, and other marine wildlife. Many tours guarantee sightings, making this an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.

You can even combine it with a glacier cruise for a full day of adventure. Whale watching season starts in May and goes until September. You're most likely to see gray whales early in the season and humpback whales in June and July.
